Robert D. Hamil was a magistrate judge for the magistrate court in Braxton County, West Virginia. He was appointed to this position on May 17, 2013, to fill the vacancy created by Larry Clifton's retirement. He ran for election to a full term on the court, but was defeated by David Robert Singleton in the primary on May 13, 2014.[1][2]
