Rob Oates
Rob Oates was a 2012 Libertarian candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 1st Congressional District of Idaho.
Oats lost to incumbent Raul Labrador (R) on November 6, 2012.[1]

Oates has also worked in the satellite industry and developed database software for business applications on the Internet.[2]
Elections
2012
Oates ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House to represent Idaho's 1st District. Oates won the nomination on the Libertarian ticket. He faced Jimmy Farris (D), incumbent Raul Labrador (R), and Pro-Life (I) in the general election on November 6, 2012, and was defeated by incumbent Raul Labrador (R).[3]
