Rob Snyder
Rob Snyder is a judge for District 3 of the St. John the Baptist Parish Justice Court Louisiana. He assumed office on January 4, 2016.
Snyder (Democratic Party) ran for election for the 2nd District judge of the Louisiana 5th Circuit Court of Appeal. He lost in the primary on November 3, 2020.
Snyder was a 2016 candidate for the Division B seat on the 40th Judicial District. Snyder was defeated in the primary election on November 8, 2016.
Biography
Snyder earned a B.A. in government from Southeastern Louisiana University, going on to receive his J.D. from the Southern University Law Center.[1]
Snyder was admitted to the bar in 2000. His professional experience includes maintaining a law practice called the Snyder Law Firm, LLC. He also served as a law enforcement officer, 911 operator, patrol deputy, and first responder.[1]

2016
Louisiana held partisan elections for local judicial offices in 2016. A primary election took place on November 8, 2016, and a general election took place on December 10, 2016. The filing deadline for candidates who wish to run in this election was July 22, 2016.[2] Jeff Perilloux and Nghana Lewis Gauff defeated Rob Snyder in the 40th Judicial District (Division B) primary election.[3]
