I am a pro-public education candidate supporting the District Additional Assistance Override for the Scottsdale Unified School District. I was named a recommended candidate by the Scottsdale Education Association. As the son of a teacher, and a former SUSD substitute teacher, I am honored by this selection from our district teachers. I will work to improve teachers' working environments, retention, and pay.
  • Strong Academics Starts with Excellent Teachers - I will focus on Teacher Retention and Pay
  • I am the father of a special needs child, and I will support and represent the parents and guardians of special needs kids
  • I believe in a inclusive educational environment, and will represent every student, and every parent in our district.
One of my priorities is with our special education student services. As the father of a special needs son, I will be a voice for my fellow SPED parents in support of our students and teachers. I know some aspects of the SUSD SPED policies are not enforced. The board adopted these, but the administration has not set up reviews and reporting to hold staff accountable. I would begin by asking the district to adhere to its adopted policies.
