Robert Docherty is a Fifth Judicial District judge for Brown County, Minnesota. He was appointed to this position on July 10, 2012, by Governor Mark Dayton to fill the vacancy left by John R. Rodenberg.[1]
He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires in 2020.[2]

Before his appointment to the Fifth District, Docherty was the managing attorney for the Mankato office of the Fifth Judicial District Public Defender’s Office.[1]
