Wampler ran for election to the Thirtieth Circuit Court.
General: He was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 9.1 percent of the vote. He competed against Kevin E. Reed and incumbent Judge James F. Russell.

Wampler received both his undergraduate and J.D. degrees from the University of Memphis.[3]
Career
Wampler maintains his own law practice of Wampler & Pierce PC in Memphis, Tennessee.[4]
