Robert Adair was a judge for the Orphans Court of Washington County in Washington County, Maryland.[1] He was elected to the court on November 2, 2010, and assumed office on December 3, 2010.[2][3] Adair ran for re-election to the Orphans Court of Washington County in 2014.[4] He was defeated in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014, and left the court at the end of his term.[5]

Adair received his undergraduate degree from Hobart College in 1967.[2]

Adair is a former sales manager for TRW, Inc.[2]

Adair ran for re-election to the Orphans Court of Washington County.
Primary: He was defeated in the Republican primary on June 24, 2014, receiving 13.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Cassandra Laverne Costley, Paul Cox, Joseph W. Eichelberger, and incumbent Judges Frank E. Novinger and John M. Shriver. Primary candidates competed for 3 seats.  [4][5]

2010

Adair, a Republican, was re-elected to the Orphans Court of Washington County (along with Frank E. Novinger and incumbent John M. Shriver) in the general election on November 2, 2010. He received 25.89% of the vote.[3]
