  • Our election system must be safe, secure, and transparent. Regardless of political affiliate, everyone deserves to have their faith in this sacred system restored.
  • I will address voters' concerns with respect and strive to find a reasonable solution while remaining within my authority.
  • I will run an office that prioritizes stewardship of public resources.

The reality is voters are concerned about the way their elections are run, especially since the spotlight has been turned on the Mesa County Clerk & Recorder’s Office. Since the 2016 presidential election, and continuing through the 2021 municipal election, voters on all sides of the political divide have brought up concerns with their election system. We need a system that everyone feels secure using as voting is one of our most sacred rights as Americans! As Mesa County Clerk, it will be my job to address those concerns. Instead of saying “trust the system, it’s safe,” I will provide answers and solutions to rebuild the trust that has been lost, with full transparency and community input along the way.
