Bauman ran for election to the Thirteenth Circuit Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on August 26, 2014, receiving 48.04 percent of the vote. He competed against Constance Daniels and Melissa Polo.
General: He defeated Melissa Polo in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 51.3 percent of the vote.
