Bigley issued the following statement regarding his bid for office:
“ | I will bring a collaborative form of leadership to Harrisburg. I will work together with Republicans and Democrats to find the best solutions to every challenge. I will meet regularly with my constituents, truly hear them, and will champion their concerns at the Capitol. Drawing from over two decades in education leadership, I will seek to overhaul our public education system, putting the power and responsibility of student success and assessment in the hands of teachers rather than bureaucracy.
I was encouraged to run by Republicans, Democrats, and Independents who (like myself) are frustrated by our dysfunctional state government. [7] |
