Robert Block (federal magistrate judge)
Robert N. Block is a former federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He was appointed to this position on February 17, 1995, and retired as a magistrate judge on July 27, 2015. He was succeeded in this position by Judge Karen Scott.[1][2][3]
Education
Judge Block received his B.A. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1972 and his J.D. degree from the University of California School of Law, Los Angeles in 1978.[1]
Career
Judge Block worked as a litigation partner with Mitchell, Silberberg and Knupp from 1984 until his appointment to the district court in 1995.[1]
