Robert Boyles
Robert Boyles was the South Carolina Director of Natural Resources. He assumed office on June 1, 2019. He left office on February 3, 2025.
On August 21, 2024, Boyles announcement his retirement as the South Carolina Director of Natural Resources effective February 2025.[1]
Boyles was appointed to replace Alvin A. Taylor, who resigned in May 2019.[2]
At the time of his appointment, Boyles was serving as the department's deputy director for marine resources.
Biography
Robert Boyles' career experience includes working as the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources deputy director for the Marine Resources Division from 2003 to 2019. He also has experience as president of the Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies.[3]
