Robert L. Buchanan, Jr. is a part-time federal magistrate judge on the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. He began serving in the position in 1979.[1][2]

Education

Robert Buchanan was born in Aiken, South Carolina on May 22, 1951. He received his A.B. degree from Erskine College in 1973 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1976.[1]

Career

Robert Buchanan became a part-time magistrate judge in 1979. He also worked as an attorney. [1][3]
