Robert C. Cheshire was a judge for the 377th District Court in Texas.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor Bill Clements in 1989 and served until his retirement from the bench in December 2014.[2]
Education
Cheshire received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in 1972 and his J.D. degree from the University of Houston Law School in 1977.[2]
Career
Before his election to the 377th District Court, Cheshire worked as an attorney in private practice for ten years in Victoria, Texas. He also previously worked as an assistant director of training at the National College of District Attorneys from 1978 to 1979.[2]

Cheshire was re-elected to the 377th District Court after running unopposed.
