Robert Chauvin

Robert "Bob" Chauvin is a judge on the New York Supreme Court 4th Judicial District. He has served in this position since January 1, 2012. He was elected to a 14 year term on November 8, 2011. His current term expires on December 31, 2025.[1]

Chauvin won election as a Supreme Court Justice on November 8th after winning the Republican and Conservative primaries. He earned 26.1% of the vote to defeat John Silvestri in the General election winning one of the three open seats.[2][3][1]

Education
Chauvin earned his undergraduate degree from Siena College in 1972. He earned his J.D. from Albany Law School in 1975.[5]

Chauvin has been actively involved in private practice since 1983, and has also served the Saratoga County District Attorney in various roles for the same period.[5]
