Elections for the city council of Mesa, Arizona were scheduled to take place on November 4, 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. Because one candidate received more than 50 percent of the vote in the District 5 primary, the general election was called off. Incumbent David Luna defeated Robert Cluff.[1][2]
