Robert Coppel was a candidate for a seat on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Florida in 2012.[1]

2012 election

Coppel ran for election on Aug. 14, 2012, but was defeated by Maria Elena Verde after receiving 48.4% of the vote.[2][3]

Education

Coppel received his B.A. degree (Radio, TV & Film Major, Theater Minor) from the University of Wisconsin and his J.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University Law School.[4]

Career

Coppel has worked in the Office of the Public Defender for the 11th Judicial Circuit since 1989, serving under Carlos Martinez. He works as the Director of Training and Professionalism.[4]
