Robert D. Rinfret

Robert D. Rinfret was a judge on the Holmes County Court of Common Pleas in Holmes County, Ohio. He was appointed to this position by former Governor Ted Strickland and assumed office February 15, 2010. Rinfret was then elected to a full term on the court in November 2010.[1][2] Rinfret was re-elected to the Holmes County Court of Common Pleas in 2014, winning a term that expired on February 8, 2021.[3] After his term ended in 2021, Rinfret retired.[4]

Rinfret ran as a Democrat for election to the seat he was appointed to. He defeated Cassandra Holtzmann, Blair Bower and Jeff Ginsburg in the general election, receiving 44.78% of the vote.[6]

Rinfret received his undergraduate degree from Bethany College in 1969 and his J.D. from The Ohio State University in 1972.[2]
