Robert E. Hardman

Robert E. Hardman is an associate judge on the Rhode Island Workers' Compensation Court.[1] Hardman was appointed to the court by Governor Donald Carcieri (R) in 2005 and was sworn in on June 24, 2005.[2] He will serve for life or until he chooses to retire.
Biography
Hardman graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island in 1978. He then graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1982 and received his J.D. from Suffolk Law School in 1988.[2]
Hardman previously served as assistant court clerk in the superior court. He then worked in private practice, focusing mainly on workers' compensation, personal injury, real estate, products liability, business law, and medical malpractice litigation. He then served as counsel for the secretary of state from 2001 to 2003.[2]
