Robert E. Murray
Robert E. Murray is a superior court justice for the Waldo County Superior Court in Maine.[1] On July 30, 2010, Governor John Baldacci (D) appointed Murray to the Maine Superior Court. He was confirmed by the Maine Senate Judiciary Committee on August 16, leading to full confirmation by the Maine Senate.[2][3]
Murray was reappointed to a seven-year term by Gov. Paul LePage (R) on September 20, 2017.[4]
Biography
Murray received his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law.[2] Murray has spent four years in both branches of the Maine State Legislature. He also worked in private practice and as Commissioner of the Department of Professional and Financial Regulation. In 2004, he joined the Maine District Court. Six years later he was appointed to the Maine Superior Court.[2]
