Robert Eldon Hood is a circuit court judge for the Fifth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina.[1] He was elected to the court by the South Carolina General Assembly on February 1, 2012, to fill Seat 3. Hood assumed the bench on January 1, 2013.[2][3] He was re-elected in February 2015 and February 2021 to a term expiring in 2027.[4][5]

Education

Hood received his undergraduate degree in political science from The Citadel in 1998 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2001.[6]
