Robert Ewing Corlew
Robert Ewing Corlew was a judge of the 16th Judicial District Chancery Court in Tennessee.
Corlew (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Tennessee's 6th Congressional District. He lost in the Republican primary on August 2, 2018.
Corlew was the chancellor for the Sixteenth District Chancery Court in Tennessee. He served in this position from 1990 to 2014.[1][2]
Biography
Corlew received his undergraduate degree from Davidson College in 1975 and his J.D. degree from St. Mary's University in 1977. He started teaching at the Nashville School of Law in 1999.[1][3] Corlew previously worked as a general practice attorney in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He served as a judge for the Tennessee General Sessions Court from 1984 until he became a chancellor in 1990. He also served on the Juvenile Court and County Court.[1][3]
