Robert Fisher
Robert Fisher is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing District Belknap 9 from 2014 to 2017.
He resigned from the state House on May 17, 2017, after it was revealed that he was the creator of an online forum on the website Reddit. The forum—called The Red Pill—promoted itself as a "discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men."[1] Fisher said he resigned because "...the falsehoods, lies and comments of an overzealous blogger and some of my colleagues have created a situation where I must genuinely consider the safety and well-being of my girlfriend, my family, and myself."[2] A legislative committee voted along party lines on May 17, 2017, to take no action against Fisher.[3]

Incumbent Robert Fisher defeated Beth Arsenault in the New Hampshire House of Representatives District Belknap 9 general election.[4][5]

2014
Elections for the New Hampshire House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 13, 2014. Incumbent Beth Arsenault was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Robert Fisher was unopposed in the Republican primary. Arsenault and Fisher faced off in the general election.[8] The Republican challenger, Fisher, defeated incumbent Aresnault in the general election.[9]
