Robert G. Fields
Robert G. Fields is a housing court associate justice for the Western Division of the Massachusetts Housing Courts.[1] He was nominated to the court by former Governor Deval Patrick in November 2008. Fields was sworn into office on June 10, 2008.[2] He may serve on the court until he turns the mandatory retirement age of 70.[3]
Education
Fields received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and his J.D. from the Northeastern University School of Law.[2]
Career
From 2005 until he became an associate justice for the Massachusetts Housing Courts in 2009, Fields served as a clerk-magistrate for the Massachusetts Housing Courts. He also previously was a partner at the law firm of Heisler, Feldman, McCormick and Garrow in Springfield, Massachusetts, and worked as an attorney for the Neighborhood Legal Services in Lynn, Massachusetts, from 1990 to 1996.[2]
