E. Robert Goebel was a federal magistrate for the Western District of Kentucky. He served as a part-time judge from October 4, 1983 to May 10, 1998.[1] He was appointed to his current full-time status on May 11, 1998.[2]
Education
Judge Goebel received his B.S. degree from Murray State University and his J.D. degree from the University of Kentucky. He was admitted to the practice of law in 1970.[3]
