Robert Hall (Georgia)
Robert Howell Hall (1921-1995) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and a justice on the Georgia Supreme Court.
Hall was nominated by President Jimmy Carter on September 28, 1979, to a new seat created by 92 Stat. 1629; he was confirmed by the Senate on October 31, 1979, and received commission on November 2. He assumed senior status on December 31, 1990, and served in that capacity until his death on October 14, 1995. Hall was succeeded in this position by Julie Carnes.
