Education

Hendrickson received his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Cincinnati in 1981 and his J.D. from the Capital University Law School in 1984.[2]

Career

Hendrickson worked as a private practice attorney for twenty-three years in Monroe, Ohio, before he was elected to the court of appeals in 2008. In addition to his job as an attorney, he worked in a number of other positions. From 1985 to 1996, Hendrickson served as a public defender in the Butler County courts. He has worked as a warrant officer for the Hamilton Municipal Court and a prosecutor in the Hamilton and Middletown Courts. He also served as a magistrate for the Hamilton Municipal Court and a Monroe City councilman in 1996. In 1997, Hendrickson became the Butler County Area III court judge. He held this position until he joined the Court of Appeals.[2]

Awards and associations

Hendrickson is a past president of the Butler County Municipal and County Court Association and a past administrative judge of the Butler County Area Courts.[2]

Family

Hendrickson's father was also a Judge of the 12th District Court of Appeals.[2]
