I am a leader.

I am a community member who is dedicated to serving others. I am part of a new generation who has been called to rise up and do what is needed to be done. I am a husband and a father. I am a child of God and unapologetic for my faith. I am the voice for those who cannot speak and for those who are afraid to. I am the ears that listen to the oppressed. I am the cheering crowd for the passions of others. I am Robert Herrick. And, I am a candidate for Kansas house of representatives in District 89.

I am passionate about lowering taxes, especially on food. I am passionate about improving the lives of our community by supporting a true quality healthcare and education system. I am a staunch gun rights supporter and will defend the 2nd Amendment. I am passionate about life and believe all life is sacred and should be protected. I am passionate about limiting the government, just as the Constitution meant for it to be.
Theodore Roosevelt and Calvin Coolidge. We as leaders can do so much more by following the examples set out by these two former US Presidents. Roosevelt is the most strenuous and showed his leadership abilities throughout his life. He was passionate for social justice, protection of human welfare, and progressive reforms that made sense. Coolidge valued a society with limited government, fiscal discipline, and lower taxes. He was about private enterprise, small businesses, and cut the federal budget.
Duty, selfless service, and integrity are values important for an elected official to have. The principles that are most important are to know that leading means making a difference, leadership is all about the people, and service to others comes before service to ourselves.
I am humble in possessing the drive to justly serve the people I am to represent. I have the passion and willpower to fearlessly listen to people and optimistically inspire a goal-oriented, engaging community. I am decisive, have integrity, am unbiased and trustworthy, and will communicate with every constituent.
Wild at Heart by John Elderidge because it speaks so much truth about a man's soul. Reading this book made me feel less alone to a lot of the ways I have felt as a man. The openness and truths between these covers helped me move forward and answered some questions of mine about where I need to go in life.
I'm a huge Marvel fan and would love to be Captain America. Between the patriotism and bravery, it's an easy choice.
Sam Hunt - Body Like a Back Road and Old Town Road (the version featuring Jake Owen that most people don't know exists).
No. I believe it is more beneficial for state legislators to not have previous experience in government or politics. The less experience will cause the new legislator to ask questions that have not been asked by other legislators who have become complacent. The fresh faces and new ideas will be beneficial to the state.
I would want to be on the local government committee to help in making a difference in our local community. I would also want to be a part of the commerce, labor, and economic development committee to better help with developing the economy and job growth.
I am interested in running for U.S. Congress in the future and someday make my run for the President of the United States.
