Robert J. Bell was a Libertarian candidate for Governor of Texas in the 2014 elections.[1]

Raised in a military family, Bell has been a Lone Star State resident since 1989 when his family moved to Strawn, Texas.[2]

In 2000, Bell graduated from Tarleton State University with a B.S. in chemistry. He then performed research related to inorganic chemistry at Texas Christian University from 2000 through 2001.[3]

Following the completion of his research, Bell began a career in the pharmaceutical industry.[2][3] While continuing to work, he earned his MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2011. At the time of his candidacy, Bell was working as a blood lab manager with Creative Testing Solutions located in Bedford, Texas.[3][4]

Bell ran for election to the office of Governor of Texas but failed to win the Libertarian nomination in the convention on April 12.[6][1]
