Robert J. Devlin, Jr.
Robert J. Devlin Jr. was a judge on the Connecticut Court of Appeals. He served on the court from 2019 to 2020. On April 25, 2019, Gov. Ned Lamont (D) nominated Devlin to succeed Michael R. Sheldon on this court. The Connecticut General Assembly confirmed Devlin on May 15, 2019.[1] In April of 2020, Devlin stepped down when he reached the mandatory retirement age of 70.[2]
Before his appointment to the Connecticut Court of Appeals, Devlin was a judge on the Fairfield District Superior Court in Connecticut.[3]
Education
Delvin earned his undergraduate degree from Southern Connecticut State University and his J.D. from the University of Connecticut.[4]
