|- I worked for years on the streets of Houston as a police officer. I have seen firsthand the effects of violent crime on children, families and communities.
- While working fulltime, and with an infant son at home, I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and attended law school part time at night graduating with honors at the University of Houston. I am no stranger to hard work and that is what it will take to lift our community out of the crisis of violent crime we are currently experiencing.
- I believe in and champion a dedicated leadership approach that addresses the demands of the dynamic modern world in which we live and operate. this requires looking at issues from all angles and considering multiple perspectives. I am wholeheartedly resolved to helping restore justice to our great community.
