Robert Jacquard
Robert Jacquard (Democratic Party) was a member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 17. He assumed office in 1993. He left office on January 4, 2021.
Jacquard (Democratic Party) ran for re-election to the Rhode Island House of Representatives to represent District 17. He was disqualified from the Democratic primary scheduled on September 8, 2020.
Biography
Jacquard attended Salve Regina. He earned his B.S. and J.D. from Roger Williams University in 1984 and 1998, respectively. His professional experience includes working for the Cranston Police Department as a Sergeant from 1979 to 2002, as an Assistant City Solicitor for the City of Cranston from 1999 to 2002, and as a self-employed attorney beginning in 1999.[1]

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 25, 2014. Incumbent Robert Jacquard was unopposed in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[5][6][7]

Jacquard won re-election in the 2012 election for Rhode Island House of Representatives District 17. Jacquard was unopposed in the September 11 Democratic primary and defeated Charles Hooper (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[8][9][10]
2010
Jacquard won re-election to the 17th District seat in 2010. He was unopposed in the September 14 Democratic primary election and also faced no opposition in the general election on November 2, 2010.[11][12]
