Robert Johnson was a judge for Division 1 of the Kentucky Court of Appeals 5th Appellate District. He left office on January 6, 2019.

Johnson ran for re-election for the Division 1 judge of the Kentucky Court of Appeals 5th Appellate District. He lost in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Johnson previously was the chief regional circuit court judge for the 14th Judicial Circuit, which presides over Bourbon, Scott, and Woodford counties of Kentucky.[1] He was re-elected without opposition in 2014, winning an eight-year term that would have expired in January 2023.[2][3]

Biography

Johnson received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown College and his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law. Johnson was a judge in the Kentucky Circuit Courts, for Bourbon, Scott, and Woodford counties of Kentucky from 2005 to 2017.[4]
