Robert K. Hilder

Robert K. Hilder was a Utah Third Judicial District judge for Salt Lake County, Utah for the Salt Lake City Justice Court.[1] Judge Hilder was appointed to this position on August 1, 1995, and retired on August 1, 2011.[2][3] Hilder died on April 26, 2017.[4]

Biography

Hilder earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Utah. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of Utah College of Law in 1984. He then worked as a law clerk for Chirstensen & Jensen. He then worked as an associate, shareholder, director, and managing director of the firm. During this time, he mainly focused on civil litigation. Hilder was appointed to the Third District Court by Governor Michael O. Leavitt on August 1, 1995. He served in that position until his retirement in 2011.[2][5]
