Robert L'Heureux
Robert L'Heureux (b. May 27, 1940) is a former Republican member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing the Hillsborough 19 District from 1990-2010. L'Heureux's political experiences include time spent serving on the Merrimack School Board and with the Merrimack Highway Safety Commission.
In May 2010, he announced he would not be seeking re-election in the fall, stating, "I have tried to do the best I could to help the people of Merrimack, and I want to thank them for trusting me all of these years."[1]
Biography
L'Heureux is a retired mechanic "A" group leader. His professional experience also includes the New Hampshire Air National Guard. L'Heureux attended Automotive Technical Schools. He and his wife, Fran, have three children.[2]

On November 4, 2008, L'Heureux was re-elected by finishing first for the eight-seat Hillsborough District 19 of the New Hampshire House of Representatives receiving 7,899 votes, ahead of Republicans Peter Batula (7,007), D.L. Christensen (6,653), Tony Pellegrino (6,606), Dick Hinch (6,521), and Peyton Hinkle (6,442), Democrat James O'Neil (6,105), Republicans Nancy Elliott (6,047) and Richard Barry (6,025), Democrats Rose Arthur (5,250), Andrew Sylvia (5,013), Kimberly Kojak (4,843), Ilene Therrien (4,303), Richard Arthur (4,126), and Evan Fulmer (3,740).
