Robert L. Dondero
Robert L. Dondero was an associate justice on the California First District Court of Appeal, Division One. He was appointed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) and sworn in on July 30, 2009[1]. He was retained by voters in 2010.[2] Dondero retired October 31, 2018.[3]
Education
Dondero received his B.A. from Santa Clara University in 1967 and his J.D. from the University of California Berkeley School of Law in 1970.[4]
Career
Dondero served as a San Francisco Superior Court Judge from 1992 until Governor Schwarzenegger nominated him to First District Court of Appeal in 2009. From 1978 to 1992 he was an assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of California and from 1971 to 1978 he was a San Francisco deputy district attorney.[5]
