Robert Lancia
Robert Lancia (Republican Party) was a member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 16. He assumed office on January 6, 2015. He left office on December 31, 2018.
Lancia (Republican Party) ran for election to the U.S. House to represent Rhode Island's 2nd Congressional District. He did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on September 13, 2022.
Biography
Robert Lancia was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He was a chaplain in the U.S. Navy, serving from 1987 to 2004. Lancia received a bachelor's degree from Rhode Island College in 1976 and other degrees from Andover Newton Theological School in 1991 and United Theological Seminary in 2000. He has been affiliated with Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Military Officers Association of America.[1]

2014
Elections for the Rhode Island House of Representatives took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 25, 2014. Incumbent Peter Palumbo was unopposed in the Democratic primary, while Robert B. Lancia was unopposed in the Republican primary. Kirk McDonough (D) and Michael Imbruglia (R) were removed from the ballot before the primaries. Palumbo was defeated by Lancia in the general election.[6][7][8]
2012
Lancia ran in the 2012 election for Rhode Island State Senate District 27. He was unopposed in the Republican primary on September 11. Incumbent Hanna Gallo was unopposed in the Democratic primary. Lancia and Aram G. Garabedian (I) were defeated by Gallo in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[9]
