With that being said, I announce my candidacy for the US House of Representatives, NC District 5.
I am a firm believer in Congressional Term Limits. If elected, I will only seek to run 5 total terms. After that I may run for a different office.- I am a firm believer that the two party system in this country has been geared to keep us all down. It is my duty as an American citizen to stand up in an effort to keep them in check, and attempt to limit their control over us.
They have essentially turned politics into college sports. One winner. One loser. Forcing a political divide in this nation so deep, that we can hardly breathe. I wish to end this now.
I will work with anyone on any topic, to pass legitimate legislation that helps out all citizens, and future citizens. People before party. - I am also a firm believer in Congressional Term Limits. This position needs an expiration date. Fresh hearts and minds to fuel America's future. On this I wish to be held accountable by others.
- The residents of North Carolina deserve better representation in Washington than what we currently have. I have watched our Attorney General spend precious time, suing FEMA, in order to get the Helene relief money promised. Grass roots is everything in Western NC. We carried out most of that relief ourselves while waiting, and we are still working and waiting.
Immigration reform. Big topic in today's political landscape. This issue has not been updated by Congress since 1996.
Marijuana legalization. Not for myself, but for others. I've seen Veterans with PTSD nearly drink themselves into oblivion. Who now relax by other means. CBD was a great step in showing how this system actually helps instead of hinders. Rollback and record expungement for those who's lives were forever tainted due to marijuana charges.
