Robert M. Clayton III is a judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District. He assumed office on July 18, 2011. His current term ends on December 31, 2036.
Clayton ran for re-election for judge of the Missouri Court of Appeals Eastern District. He won in the retention election on November 5, 2024.
Clayton was appointed by Democratic Governor Jay Nixon on July 18, 2011, to succeed Judge Nannette Baker.[1][2] He served a one-year term as chief judge from July 2013 through June 2014.[3]
Education
Clayton received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and his J.D. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law.[3]
