Robert M. DiBella is a justice of the Supreme Court 9th Judicial District in New York. He was elected on November 8, 2011 (effective January 1).[1]
He previously served as an acting supreme court justice and a judge of the Westchester County Court.[2]

DiBella attended Florida State University for his bachelor's degree and the New England School of Law for his J.D..[3]
Career
DiBella worked as a law clerk and principal attorney to Judge Anthony Scarpino of the Westchester County Surrogate's Court prior to becoming a County Court judge in 2004.[2]
2011 election

DiBella was elected to the Supreme Court 9th Judicial District on November 8. He received 49.6% of the vote in the race for two seats on the court. He was cross-endorsed by both major parties.[4][5][1]
