Robert M. La Follette, Jr. (February 6, 1895 – February 24, 1953), was a member of the U.S. Senate from the state of Wisconsin from 1925 to 1947. He was first elected as a Republican in 1925 and re-elected as a Republican in 1928. In 1934 and 1940 he was elected as a member of the Wisconsin Progressive Party. When they dissolved in 1946 he returned to the Republican Party.[1]
