Robert Marshall (Delaware)
Robert I. Marshall (b. October 16, 1946) is a former Democratic member of the Delaware State Senate, representing District 3 from 1978 to 2018. Marshall did not file to run for re-election in 2018.
Biography
Marshall graduated with a B.A. from Edison State College in New Jersey. When he served in the state Senate, Marshall worked as the director of the Delaware Skills Center.

Elections for the Delaware State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on September 9, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was July 8, 2014. Incumbent Robert I. Marshall defeated Sherry Dorsey Walker in the Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election.[2][3][4][5]

Marshall ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Delaware State Senate District 3. Marshall defeated Eric M. Anderson and Timothy J. Meades, Sr. in the Democratic primary on September 11, 2012 and was unchallenged in the general election on November 6, 2012.[6][7]

On November 4, 2008, Marshall won re-election to the Delaware State Senate from Delaware's 3rd Senate District. Marshall was unopposed in the election, and he received 10,225 votes.[8] Marshall raised $12,003 for his campaign in 2008.[9]
