Campaign themes

2016

The following issues were listed on Tager's campaign website. For a full list of campaign themes, click here.

  • Veteran's Affairs: It is disgusting and unacceptable that after decades of promises by disconnected politicians, the Veterans Affairs is still not giving our veterans the care they deserve.
  • Job Creation: Job creation and job growth should begin and end right here at home – not halfway around the globe.
  • Right to Vote: It is not only unfair, but also unjust to deny people who have served their debt to society to be forever stripped of their right to vote.
  • Increasing Minimum Wage: It is a sad testament to our current leadership that many people who work 40 hours or more a week are still living below the poverty line.
  • Health Care and Insurance: Nothing is more important than the health and security of the people government serves. So why are we still debating on common-sense healthcare and insurance solutions?
