Robert A. Neary is an acting justice for the Bronx County Supreme Court in New York. He is a former judge for the New York Court of Claims. He was appointed by former Governor Pataki in 2006 to a term that expired in 2018.[1]

Neary served as an acting justice for the Westchester County Supreme Court in New York from 2006 to 2015.[1]

Education

Neary received his B.A. degree from the College of the Holy Cross in 1969 and his J.D. degree from St. John's University in 1975.[1]

Career

Neary began his career in 1975 as an Assistant District Attorney for Westchester County. He worked in that capacity until he joined the bench as a Westchester County Court judge in 2003. The following year, he became a Supreme Court judge. He was then appointed Court of Claims Judge and Acting Supreme Court Justice in 2006.[1]
