Robert Nelson Pollard
Robert Nelson Pollard (1880-1954) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.[1]
He was nominated by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt on February 20, 1936 to a seat created by 49 Stat. 508. He was confirmed by the Senate on February 27th, and received commission that same day. On April 22, 1947, he assumed senior status, continuing to serve in this capacity until his death on May 24, 1954.[1] Pollard was succeeded in this position by Albert Bryan, Sr..
