Robert Newsom is a judge for the Hopkins County Court in Texas.[1] He was previously a judge for the 8th District Court in Texas, serving from 1997 through 2012.[2] He was appointed to the court in early 2014 and was re-elected after running unopposed on November 4, 2014, for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expired on December 31, 2018.[3][4]
