- I am focused on lowering the everyday costs that hit people hardest, including water, insurance, and childcare, by making county government work better at the basics and investing in infrastructure and drainage to reduce flooding so growth benefits residents, not just developers.
- I bring proven experience from the largest Commissioners Court in Texas, serving as a key member of Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo’s leadership team as Director of Community Relations. I helped manage a nearly $3 billion budget, coordinate disaster recovery after Hurricane Beryl and other emergencies, and ensure residents’ needs and concerns were reflected in county policy and core services.
- As a first-generation American who grew up in Fort Bend schools and earned an MBA from Rice University, I learned the value of hard work, education, and people from different backgrounds working together to make things better. I believe Fort Bend’s diversity is a strength, and I will lead by building coalitions and advocating for strong schools and communities, so every family has a chance to succeed.
I’m also deeply focused on policies that improve daily life—lowering costs like water, insurance, and childcare, investing in infrastructure to reduce flooding, and making sure government is practical, transparent, and responsive to the people it serves.
