Robert Oberbillig
Robert Oberbillig was a judge on the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He was initially appointed in October 1998 and won election to full four-year terms in 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016. Oberbillig retired on November 1, 2017.[1]
Biography
Oberbillig received a bachelor's degree and J.D. from the University of Iowa.[2]
Oberbillig began his legal career in private practice as a partner at the firms of Snell & Wilmer (1982–1994) and Doyle, Winthrop, Oberbillig & West (1994–1997). Immediately prior to his superior court appointment, he was of counsel at Snell & Wilmer (1997–1998).[2]

Elections
2016
Arizona held elections for 80 superior court judgeships on November 8, 2016. Sixty-three of those seats were up for retention election. Three counties—Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal—use retention elections for their superior courts.[3]

Oberbillig was retained with 68.29 percent of the vote in the general election on November 6, 2012.[4][5]
