Robert Okun is a judge on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He was nominated on March 19, 2013 by President Barack Obama. Okun succeeded Linda Kay Davis on the court.[1]

Okun attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude with a B.A.. He went on the earn his J.D., graduating cum laude from Harvard Law School.[1]

On March 19, 2013, President Obama nominated Okun to a post on the Superior Court of the District of Columbia to fill the vacancy left by Linda Kay Davis.[2] Obama commented on the nomination, stating,"Throughout their careers, these nominees have displayed unwavering commitment to justice and integrity. Their records are distinguished and impressive and I am confident that they will serve the American people well from the bench of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. I am honored to nominate them today. "[1]
