Ornelas (No Party Affiliation) also ran in a special election to the U.S. House to represent Florida's 20th Congressional District. He was disqualified from the special general election scheduled on January 11, 2022.

2014

Ornelas explored a run for election to the office of Governor of California in 2014, but never filed for the June 3 primary election. The general election took place on November 4, 2014.

2012

Ornelas ran for vice president of the United States on the American Independent Party ticket in California on November 6, 2012. The ticket received 0.3% of the vote.[2][3]
